Ordinance guns progress...plus surprise ogryns!
Well… technically bullgryns, but let’s not split hairs.
I’ve had a busy week, including a few nights away in Germany. Nonetheless, I’ve made progress!
Surprise! Ogres Ogryns Bullgryns
These have been on my backlog for almost two years - I impulse-bought them at the Warhammer shop in Chiswick before that sadly shut down. In my mission to reduce the amount of units that are unfinished (‘WIP’), I’ve really focussed on these. These aren’t yet finished or based, but I wanted to show them off anyway!
The next steps are to finish up some detailing, drybrush a few bits like their grenade gauntlets, and then base them in the usual style. I think these models are great, and I love the small touches like tank tracks for armour, and their water bottles being jerry cans.
The big guns are (almost) here
I also made significant progress on my first two ordinance guns. Since the last time, I painted all the individual parts and crew, and then glued them on the base. Here are a couple of pics:

I’m pretty happy with the progress on these two guns, and especially like a couple of ‘spot’ colours I’m trying out, such as Kroxigor Scales on the sergeant rank slides, and Ork Flesh on some other badges.
I’m hoping I’ll be able to wrap both these units up this week. After that I think some kind of parade will be in order to take stock, then I’ll need to crack out the clippers and glue!
