The infantry grows by another 20 troopers

A few weeks have gone by, and I’ve made great progress batch painting the next 30 Cadian shock troops. Of the 30, the 20 in the uniform of the 39th Vilniaus are finished, and the 10 of the 117th Mordian Iron Guard are perhaps 60% done.

Regardless - I now have enough to field a proper platoon!

These squads have really benefited from the recently-released Cadian Upgrade set, adding plenty of character to many models, and in particular the NCOs. Here’s a few examples:

With this, my WIP is reduced to a single squad of Cadian Shock, with the Tank Commander (a single small model, not a whole entire tank) waiting to be primed. I then have the final Command Squad, Sentinel, and Ordinance Battery remaining from those two Cadia Stands box sets. We’re getting there!!

I’ve simplied my kanban - Priming and Basing have been removed and is just covered by Painting.

Next week I’m aiming to finish the squad of Mordian Iron Guard. After that, I’ll probably pick up the Sentinel as a little break from painting white so much infantry. Until next time!
