As a Death Guard player, remembering to roll Morty's disgustingly resilient saves against damage is half the battle. He often feels fragile but he does fight well.
That contagion rule that worsens BS is also only worthwhile if you remember to call it out. Gets tedious all the buffs and de-buffs.
I'm learning about having a plan too. Did you have any avenues that were closed off to your tanks? It seems most Pariah Nexus layouts leave room for at least 4" but not sure if that's enough for the Dorns, which would be a bummer!
Yeah there were a few places my Dorns couldn’t really fit. Maybe overall 2/3 places on either side?
The layout didn’t match the diagram exactly, so it was probably off a bit on the measurements. At least I didn’t have any situations where they couldn’t manoeuvre to shoot something - but they did have to get too close for comfort with the enemy!

It certainly felt like a lot to remember. They also get an aura when they hold objectives and make them sticky. Very unique army nonetheless.
The sticky objectives are great. Especially when you push for mid-board with all your units.
I've had awful experiences with dropping blightlord terminators behind enemy lines only to fall short of reaching objectives.
