I’m not sure. Crusade for sure is fun. I like making a narrative and it’s more suited to having fluffy armies. There’s less focus on min-maxing and even if you lose your army progresses so you get something out of it.
But I do like Matched Play. It’s a puzzle and a challenge. I’m not very good at it but there’s a ton to learn.
I like both for different reasons. If I could pick me? Probably Crusade.
